If you google Gower Peninsular, you will more than likely see a photo of Three Cliffs amongst them, but no-one has a shot from this angle. This was a shot I had wanted to get for a while. It was on my list of shots to get and I was excited to get it. I swam out at low tide, there was a little swell rolling in and it was just a lovely day.
The rip started to pull and it was very hard to stay in one spot and keeping the photo framed how I wanted it. I took a couple shots and was unhappy. So I had to get out the water walk back up and get back in, I knew I didn’t have much time left to get the shot, I made sure I was lined up right, pulled the trigger, then proceeded to get smashed by a wave sending me under water. I was praying it came out well.
